The Charles Street Promenade is a pedestrian takeover of the Historic Charles Street thoroughfare. This beloved event transforms the Historic Charles Street thoroughfare into a vibrant pedestrian-friendly zone, featuring exciting street-front activations, live musical performances, and more. Explore, shop, and savor the flavors of Charles Street, which will be free of vehicular traffic from Saratoga Street to North Avenue. Whether you come on foot, by bike, with your little ones, or furry friends, there's something for everyone!

Join the Mobtown Ballroom in the Station North Arts District for FREE live music and swing dancing outside on Charles Street for the annual Charles Street Promenade, made possible by the Central Baltimore Partnership. Live music will be provided by Jon Tigert and the Corner Pocket Jazz Band. Basic swing dance lessons (no partner or experience required) and performances will happen during a few of the band breaks.

Baltimore Architecture Foundation presents a walking tour of Station North led by Charlie Duff. Charles Duff is a planner, teacher, developer, and historian. Since 1987, Mr. Duff has been President of Jubilee Baltimore, a non-profit group that has built or rebuilt more than 300 buildings in historic Baltimore neighborhoods and is leading the development of the Station North Arts District.
